Jim that looks YUMMY!:D
Mo those pictures are great! I Totally understand the "Why do I even bother" statement, I bought some items at Goodwill last night and played dress up with Marley. I tried to get her to let me take some pictures and sure enough she brought out the uncooperative pouting personality......drives me NUTS! The little stinker KNOWS I want to take pictures and she just acts like a little turd about it!

Pretty good day here.....I got NOTHING done:lol:
Went out to my moms, visited with my family and sat out in the shade and complained about the heat a lot.

I did get another wedding booked for September though and I got hired to shoot swim team photos this Friday morning.

Swim team should be interesting, I've never photographed this sport before. The photos will be a team photo & individuals. The lady that hired me pointed out the fact that they hired some other photographer last year and that the photos were AWFUL! I asked for a bit of detail about what made them awful and she said the reflection off the water made shiny spots all over the swimmers. Hummm I suggested we take the photos in front of the pool building instead of the pool itself and she was all for it.:) WHEW!

Evening to all,

We had a wonderful dinner at Carlos' tonight. As promised here is a shot of the french fried lobster. And here is a shot of a Roanoke sunset taken from the restaurant patio. G10 moments for sure :)

MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

Aaron wanted to try to make spaghetti with my pasta maker so we did. It was lots of fun and it was really delicious!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

A while back I bought a pasta making attachment for our Kitchenaid mixer, and it did not go well. It's in a drawer somewhere in the kitchen. Maybe someday I'll try again.

Good Morning All,

Kathy...I love the last photo you posted. Beautiful young lady and so beautifully photographed.

Mo...your youngsters are so photogenic! I cannot believe how fast the baby is growing! Your photos serve to prove that in the hands of a skilled photographer the 24-70MM f/2.8 EF L has no equal.

Tom, I ventured into new culinary areas last night. I had chicken with sauteed onions, okra, spinach, and peppers in a tangy tomato sauce with a side of black beans and one of rice. Food for royalty for sure!

Looks great, Jim.

I'm sitting here wondering if I should try to go back to sleep directly, or pass by the kitchen and see if there are any Oreos left.

Thanks, Jim and Tommy. I, too, cannot believe Nicholas is 3 months old already. He laughs and coos so cute and is generally a happy baby.

Good Morning!

Mo, BEAUTIFUL shots!

I'm back to babysitting today so I won't get much done....oh well!:)

I went down to deliver order envelopes to the swim team folks this morning and we will NOT be using the pool for photos. It is the ugliest pool area I've seen, so we will be stepping down into the grassy park area and shoot there.

Morning! Jim, I'm going to have to shoot you for posting that great food! I'm so hungry.

Mo, your grandsons are beautiful. That little one has beautiful eyes and such a sweet smile. You know they are happy boys. And you know they are yours forever. How wonderful is that?

Tom, Tommy, Kathy, and others, Aloha from Oahu in my hotel room. I'm waiting for the boys to get going. My 2 youngest are ready to go, the time difference is killing me. I got up at around 4 and couldn't go back to sleep. It was lunch time when I showered, it seemed. Here is a shot from my resort

We're off. I'll be reporting in periodically and moderating when I can, like when everyone is asleep probably. Love to you all! Aloha!

My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.
