Breakfast from the snack shack was $31 for cereal, milk and 4 scones. Life here in HI gets a little expensive. That's where I bought my first EOS camera. I dropped my camera getting it out of the overhead compartment on the plane, and bent the lens mounting. I didn't want to be in HI without a camera, so I bout an EOS 650 (film) body with a 50 f/1.8. I wish I still had them, although only for nostalgic reasons. I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

SuzyView Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 29, 2009 02:26 | #8827 Okay, Jim. You asked for it! Breakfast of champions, well my breakfast. It's 2 eggs over easy on fried rice and fried spam, served at the Hukilau. My family minus the picture taker. This was seriously in the middle of nowhere, food was great! And cheap. Lunch at Giovanni's truck & fry, spicy scampi shrimp with hot sauce on rice. People served can sign the truck where the shrimp is cooked and served. Shaved ice at Matsumoto's, leechy nut, strawberry and mango, with vanilla ice cream under. And finally, I asked for one and got one as I was watching the sunset tonight: I actually saw 4 rainbows today. My son was right, they just appear and disappear all afternoon on Oahu. This prevents your body from thinking it is in the starvation mode which slows your metabolism to conserve your energy. Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Lois wakes up hungry, and she's not bashful about it. I do the cooking, so I have to face food before I'm even awake. I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!
