Hey girl...

I have to get to that wedding...thought it was my last, now I am helping a young photog on Sat shoot a wedding. Ha! She just bought herself a noink, I told her I was really not supposed to speak to her anymore, and did show her the nikon cafe and Nikonians forums and she joined them.

So, the bride is beautiful...both her and the groom have very strong facial features and amazing. SO, I'm excited to do it and it will keep me from doing what I was going to do....

ummmmm What were you going to do?:lol:

well, besides texting James and telling him what she was doing the entire service, he suggested I bring out my 70-200 and just 'take a few shots" :-)

House? Remodeling?

I've been good, pretty busy with pictures.

Have you been snowboarding? Our Mt. Bachelor that usually opens for full business every year on Thanksgiving day has 7 inches of snow and it's man made! It's been a really weird year here as far as weather, not anything like normal. They opened two chairs for turkey day and thats it!

I am roasting another turkey! I got two turkeys because we were going to be loaded with company, then some of the other in-laws ended up coming to town and we all went and ate with them, so I have a ton of food left. Both turkeys were thawing in the fridge so I had to do something with them. We will be eating turkey for days! So maybe for X-mas dinner we will have tacos! lol

Well, this Christmas I will be here, till Jan. 13th, that is my move date. I have a bridal show that weekend and will stay in the empty house for a couple days...with lap top! :-)

I am enjoying my chicken noodle soup!

Jim just called they made it "almost" to 71, they are backed up for miles and miles and miles...not sure what has happened.

Oh and we rented our home....so I guess that is good, to a friend of ours who just moved back here from Arizonia...

happy Monday morning, All. I survived the weekend but I have to say 13-14 hour days at my real job are not nearly as much fun as they sound :D

Kathy - I charge my batteries when they aren't empty and they seem to work fine and don't seem to die unreasonably early so far either. I think some of the older batteries and chargers maybe caused problems? I'm using Sanyos & Sony's for my NiMh and Imedions (like Eneloops), too.

I did not see you mention batteries and charges. From what I know (not a lot) Batteries used to come with "memory", so if you charged a battery that was say, 1/2 or 1/4 still charged, then you loose that amount of space on that battery after you charge it. It basically remembers where you charged it and considers that the full spot.

I know a few years ago a lot of battery companies started to make the change away from those types of batteries....So I think you are pretty safe now...

Cell phones were horrible with this.

"Memory" issues were with NiCd cells. Nobody uses them any more if they can avoid it. It's not an issue with either NiMH or Li ion cells.

Well, they must have given me some "NiCad anesthesia" then. Short term mem of a few weeks ago is not too stellar for me...... So, you say I need to go on lithium now and that will help?
