"Memory" issues were with NiCd cells. Nobody uses them any more if they can avoid it. It's not an issue with either NiMH or Li ion cells.

Thanks for the information, besides feeling better about my batteries, it's also quite fun to let my know-it-all kid know that indeed he DOES NOT know-it-all!:D

Make him feel really bad. If you habitually run Li-ion cells flat, you shorten their life.

Hahaha! Perfect! I will go out to the den right away and make that announcement while his buddies are still here! :D

Thanks again! I LOVE to "tell him something" and watch him try to act like he already knew it when it's obvious he doesn't have a clue!:lol:

Well, they must have given me some "NiCad anesthesia" then. Short term mem of a few weeks ago is not too stellar for me...... So, you say I need to go on lithium now and that will help?

Good morning all! It's a gloriously snowy day here in paradise :) We've got around 2 inches that I'm betting won't last very long.

Poll question....Who has put up their Christmas trees already??!

AHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

BWAAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

oh okay sorry.had to get that out of my system first...

No tree for us this year...we are moving the week after Christmas, so neither home will have lights or trees, most likely I will have a menorah here, but the tree will be a bit too much for us this year.

OKay okay.....

I'm almost done with the first "leg" of editing...Whew...

then my mom calls and she has somehow, "lost" her password, they reset it for her and now she can't find aol...so I have to go over there later tonight to figure that out. Last time she did it, (I have no idea what "it" is) I went over, signed on aol and said...here.

But the whole time I have my step father coming in and out of their office, talking and complaining and hitting my back telling me I'm a good "kid" ahahhaha...

Morning ladies and germs. I don't know if anybody has seen this, but if anybody needs some CF Cards, check this out:

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=607845

There are some terrific deals to be had, even without the rebates. And with the rebates, it looks like the stuff is free, less some cheap shipping. I just ordered three of the 4GB Ultra III cards.

Wow, I love Cyber Monday!! In addition to Stu's deal, Amazon.com is running a deal on the Sandisk Ultra II 4GB SD cards for $8.88/card.

Yup - saw that too, terrific stuff; thanks James. I would have gone for that but wanted the recovery s/w and something a little faster than my current cards ;).
