posting polls?

is there a way for non moderators to post polls?

When you created this thread it would've been the last option under "Additional Options".

Sure before you click submit scroll down a bit and tick the box and choose the number of opitions:

I never really noticed before - 500 max on poll options...I may just have to think of a big poll

How about a 'most used lens focal length' poll from say 8 to 507mm... No?

I created the "new post", filled out my subject, posted a message, and checked the poll box, and listed 5 poll choices. When I hit submit, it didn't give me any place to list the 5 options.
It just posted my subject & message, and I had egg on my face.

What am I doing wrong. How do you put your poll options into the post?

You should have been prompted for your choices after hitting the "submit" button. Of you may have double-clicked the submit button and that may have confused the forum software.

Or it might be a browser glitch. Try resetting your browser cache and trying again.
