Don't know if I should have, but I did! lol...I just sent an e-mail to someone in advertising because he was supposed to take our pictures, but has not made it here yet and so I stepped in and said "Hey, this might be a good thing and open up some possibilities" All I have are my kit lens, 55-250 (probably too long for indoors :() and my Vivitar flash. I don't have any off camera stuff, which I made clear in the e-mail I sent..so if he wouldn't mind bounced flash I'm game!

The only thing is that these pictures are going to be displayed on some type of projection screen or big T.V. during our Christmas party!!! Should I worry about resolution? At the distance everyone will be sitting I would think not, but I'm not sure..just wondering if doing this makes me a fool!! haha..don't worry..you won't hurt my feelings!

Well the nice thing about it being played on a screen is the low resolution. Your max size will only have to be 720 x 480 which is NTSC standard. So I would take all your images full size and then reduce them or crop them in PS into a fixed 720 x 480 window that will go into your video presentation. Take some test shots and view it on some large T.V.'s and see what you get.

Not if they use a digital projector...

You can still build your video at standard def. 720 x 480 and then when it plays back on a digital projector it will look just fine. This way you are covered if they have a projector or large TV so you don't have to build 2 presentations.

Thanks guys! I'll remember that for when I take the pictures! I'm still waiting on a response from the person who works in advertising!
