Anyone ever tried using a macro-based lens for beauty shots? The focus is on skin for this particular project that I am doing.

Thanks!

I've used my 100 macro for portraits, but not specifically beauty. For portraits it's almost too sharp. Shows every imperfection clearly but nothing a little PP cant fix.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I am trying to focus on the skin. More than likely I'll just stick with my 85mm ;)
