A little too dark. Not sure if I get the title.

A little dark for me, too. She's leaving....walking right out of the image.

I like the background more than the foreground, for some reason.

Again, not getting the title.I would rather take what I can from the photo without the title telling me what it is trying to convey.
she has a pole coming out of her head.again, like your last one, its really a busy BG.:(.A crop isolating her may work? She is nice and clear..I like the heavy contrast.

I like the conversion, but there's no true white. I think some work with curves could really bring out some more contrast.

I think it needs more lens blur, since she seems oblivious to the world.
As far as the title, "leaving my world behind" it implies she had some sort of connection to you/or the viewer previously but I don't feel that in the image. It looks like she's one of many strangers you see passing by on the street, she was never in your world.

i'm not sure what she's leaving behind... she's taking a mighty big bag and a cell phone with her...

It does look better now. I like the vignetting as well.

Gawd, I hate cell phones!

now... it would be a great shot if you deliberately had her place her cell phone on the ledge, opened with a call still active or with the address book open with her family and/or friend's names showing... with her walking away leaving the cell phone behind... Get closer to the ledge and cel with a wide angle lens to create the illusion that there's great distance between the cell phone in focus in the foreground and her walking away would be sweet... oh and let the lines of the ledge lead her away from the cell

LOL , my perspective on this is she is talking on her cell phone and leaving the real world behind.

If you watch people who talk loudly or focus in on cell phones conversations while walking or commuting by car or public transportation they often become oblivious to the world around them.

subjective photography...:-)..

my generation is one that remembers life without cell phone's , the older buildings and monuments reflect a different time, a time newer generations are leaving behind...which is my (the photographer's) world.

It's neither a negative nor postive photo, just a slice of life.

She is moving forward, which is why she was placed to the left of the frame.

given this situation i think a bit of eye contact would have been nice. Seems a bit of a nothing photo to me as i don't really see it as telling a story. I think with street photography it's important not to get drawn into photographing the back of people so they don't see you (I'm not saying thats necessarily what you did).

In terms of processing, the black and white gives it nice contrast but i think the vignette is a bit too heavy.

That helps to shed some light on this. I remember life without cell phones, but still wonder how we managed trying to find a pay phone when we needed one. Hated when those things took my 25 cents or when I didn't have any change on me... dialed 0 plenty of times and I'd bet some people don't remember that  However, I'm also of the generation to now also not own a LAN line at home.

Interesting message you are trying to convey in your photo. I can see what you're trying to do, but I don't think this photo quite gets you there. I see a girl on a cell phone walking somewhere out of the scene. I don't quite get sense that she's leaving "her" world behind, as stated in the title. Other than her leaving the frame, I don't get the sense that she's leaving anything behind.
