I think some work with curves could really bring out some more contrast. Nikon D300s -- Nikkor 24mm F/2.8 -- Nikkor 28-80mm F/3.3-5.6 -- Nikkor 135mm F/2.8 -- Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6flickr

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Oct 31, 2008 02:42 | #9 i'm not sure what she's leaving behind... she's taking a mighty big bag and a cell phone with her... Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

Gawd, I hate cell phones! The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Oct 31, 2008 08:56 | #12 now... it would be a great shot if you deliberately had her place her cell phone on the ledge, opened with a call still active or with the address book open with her family and/or friend's names showing... with her walking away leaving the cell phone behind... Get closer to the ledge and cel with a wide angle lens to create the illusion that there's great distance between the cell phone in focus in the foreground and her walking away would be sweet... oh and let the lines of the ledge lead her away from the cell Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

Seems a bit of a nothing photo to me as i don't really see it as telling a story. I think with street photography it's important not to get drawn into photographing the back of people so they don't see you (I'm not saying thats necessarily what you did). Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Oct 31, 2008 10:48 | #15 That helps to shed some light on this. I remember life without cell phones, but still wonder how we managed trying to find a pay phone when we needed one. Hated when those things took my 25 cents or when I didn't have any change on me... dialed 0 plenty of times and I'd bet some people don't remember that Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
