I shared some of these in the sharing section but wanted to get your thoughts in critique as well. I'm still interested in your thoughts on the B/W conversion and tonality (you may recall my posts of Texas street photography).

I followed the same process: camera set to monochrome (RAW+JPEG), in camera red filter, contrast boosted all the way this time (prev was one notch down), sharpness two notches down from max.

Black clipping added 2-3 pts in LR. Then dodging and burning in CS3 and some minor tweaking of the levels on the right side of the histogram.

I really feel with this set like I might be getting even closer to that TRI-X look I like, but even if it's not quite there yet, I enjoyed this session most of almost all my outings this year. And to think, I almost didn't go!

With the exception of the two ladies walking, these are self-portraits. I set the camera on the bridge ledge secured by my strap. Set it for f/22, prefocused, and used the countdown timer.

I like the composition of the couple walking down the road in image #5. I am impressed with the well balanced B/W work and think that you have done a very good job of mimicking the characteristics of Tri-X.

My vote on the last one as well. I to think its a tad dark. If that bridge is in an area that gets snow I think that would make for an awesome winter scene.

I like the last one as well and do the first and last one after a heavy snow.
