Should be here tomorrow, I can't wait... Any ideas on how close to a fish-eye effect I can get out of it with a 5D attached?

If I were you I'd cancel the order!

You got cheated out of 10mm on the long end...
(16-35mm perhaps?)

That's a chunk o' glass I'd like to own myself.

Oops, you're right, it's actually a 16-35... I only buy good camera gear because I dont own anything else of value... sadly. But hey, at least I have my L lenses, that's all I need.

Nice purchase, I love my 16-35L on the 5D.

It is nothing like a fisheye, just damn wide.

If you want a fisheye effect, Canon's 15mm FTW. The Sigma 12-24 does get to be a lot of fun. Not a true fisheye but a real nice wide bit of kit. Stick it at 12mm on a 5D, get in close to something and watch the depth go crazy.
