Hi,
Does any have or use this combination? If so are you please with it? how much does it affect the final image ? I'm thinking of buying the converter but haven't seen any images taken with it on the 100- 400 mm so would be grateful for any feedback..

I have this configuration and it so somewhat useful but not ideal. You loose autofocus so all focusing is manual or what I use is live view. Also, you need a rocking tripod or very high shutter speeds because any little movement looks like the earth is frying apart, but that just a drawback of zooming in a whole bunch.. The IQ is ok but nothing stunning.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

We have a thread here that shows different lens/TC combinations, and there are few 100-400 shots in there.

It won't AF on anything other than 1-series bodies.
IQ will be affected, but IMO still usable.

Yes it'll AF on the 1D series. You'll only be able to use the center AF point though.
