...and this is what I came up with...

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

and
IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png' | Redirected to error image by ZENFOLIO PROTECTED

Thoughts? Opinions? CC? Compositionally, I know the second picture is split pretty dead center...but I tried it out a few different ways and that to me is what worked best here.

Thanks for looking.

I like them! The first one really works for me... the second one I was a little on the fence on, but decided that I like how minimalistic it is. Clean and simple. As for the first one, I really like the bright spot near the center of the image. It makes it breathe, a bit.

I'd like to know your process on these. They look very metallic (and would probably print very nicely on metallic paper) - even the leaf.

Cool images. Is the second one a piece of Diamond Plate?

Cool,
The first one does it for me, both were well worth the effort.
Cheers

Very cool. Like the others, I particularly like the first one. Interested to see your processing steps when you post them up.

I suspect its a solarazation in photoshop combined with glowing edges or something like that? I like the effect..The 2nd one reminds me of microscopic bacteria or something.

Not quite a solarization...

Quickly,

I first left the images in color and did a few adjustments...curves, levels, etc. Then I bumped the saturation a bit. After that I did unsharp mask. Some Dodge/Burn, then unsharp Mask again. Once the images really popped, I used the glowing edges filter in CS4, then did some minor tweaks after that.

I have been SWAMPED at work this week, so I have not been able to really dig into the process for you guys! Thanks all for the comments and time!
