Oct 29, 2008 20:40 | #1 So it says the software isn't compatible with Mac OSX, what could I do to make it upload to a Macbook Pro and just do simple editing? (iMovie simple chop up and music over it) We got our old ass Sony to do it with the Hi8 tapes so I imagine there's a way. -Erik

wallrat Hatchling 1 post Joined Dec 2008 More info | It works great with OSx. I use it with 10.5.5 and have no problems. The drivers are included for OSx, but the ImageMaker software is a windows only product. You will have great results using iMovie 08 (anything prior to '08 will not be able to see the camera as they don't support avchd).

Dec 11, 2008 10:33 | #4 I have a MacBook Pro combined with the HG10. Editing on FCE 4.0 works well. I didn't have a problem with compatibility at all.
