Obviously that's the caveat with any video production for a wedding, but I think it's especially the case here. This was a scenario built around the filming of a pseudo-event. It's a great film and great quality, but it will take some sort of harness or shoulder-mounted cradle to really make this a viable tool for shooting wedding video, in my opinion.

I'm sure a client would be thrilled, but I personally don't see anything more than nice quality (image-wise) video. I understand this a sample video (it obviously wasn't a real wedding), but if I were Canon, I would have chosen a better sample to exemplify the new camera. Comparing this to Reverie, this seemed super amateur and I'm afraid this camera is going to bring a lot more of this kind of work into the industry; More emphasis on video, rather than still photography. ANY video camera needs to be ona tripod most of the time - although IS lenses may help Veni, Vidi, Snappi

It seems targeted for the new dslr video cameras. If you were privvy to Canons Mkting plans Im sure you would see wedding photographers very very high on the target market list. Clipper
