I posted these in the the "Wildlife" section, but also posted them here in hopes to gain some criticism. I'd like to improve, and I need all of your help.

Thanks a lot! JOHN

These were taken using my 50d + 100-400 f4-5.6L.
mode: av
ISO 250, with varying shutter speeds.

Post processing includes using landscape settings, some cropping here and there. I also did some brightness and contrast adjustments

I like the action in 3 and 6. Not sure about the silhouette. Unfortunately, the light direction was not helping you in 3 and 6. The faces, therefore were in the shadows. compare to #2 where the light is fine. The whites in #7 are overexposed, thereby lacking detail.

I like 2 & 5 ....

The negatives
#1 - The horizon, need a little more reach (zoom)
#2 - Excellent for me, although I'm sure pro birders will say you want a little head turn and an open mouth if possible.
#3 - If it wasn't for the right wings being blury it would be an awesome shot.
#4 - Needs something in the background, foregound.
#5 - No head?
#6 - Again blurring on the wings, just a little faster would have done it. Maybe flash would have helped a little too?
#7 - The white in the middle is completely blown out sadly. Again very very nice though. Although for some reason it doesn't show as blown out in my histogram which is odd.
