I was in a church with a very tall ceiling, thought i'd try the bounce flash. Worked pretty good, but then I thought let's try that zoom thing some of them talk about. Somehow I got the flash on zoom 105 m. There is also an M in front of the 105 which I assume means manual. I decided I liked the regular bounce better, but guess what....I'm too stupid to get it back the way it was originally. I got the manual out, pushed the zoom button then tried to use the dial to change it back, that didn't work. Turned it off and back on, that didn't work. Pushed mode and turned the dial, that didn't work even close. How can I get it back to just ettl and the zoom thingy turned off? Somewhere in all that dial turning, I saw the word "off" but when I pushed the little middle button, it still kept the 105m on the lcd.

It should be simply a matter of pushing the zoom button which should cause the 'zoom 105mm' in the top r/h corner to flash, then rotating the main dial until the 105 is replaced by two dashes. Then pressing the zoom button (or the select button in the middle of the main dial) again.

Make sure the wild angle diffuse panel is all the way in. It disables the wheel when not.

Yeap, just make sure to hold the zoom button pressed in, for a second or two. It'll flash...you change it, and done. Same thing with the Manual mode button.
