Sure thing.

FlyingPhotog: I liked this image quite a bit, although it didn't really put any sort of sound inside my head. Also, I would've liked to have seen some of the sliders moved up, even if it would have put them out of focus.

Flo: Good shot, shooting drummers is hard, especially if lighting conditions aren't ideal. I think it might've been more interesting with either a shorter exposure to remove the blur altogether (which may not have been possible) or a longer exposure to capture more action.

John B: Wasn't a huge fan of the subject matter on this one, as the speaker isn't very attractive. I think it would've been better to have put more focus on the guitar. Also, the flash glare takes away from it somewhat.

mikerault: I didn't really like the composition of this shot, as it is a very unnatural perspective view. I like the depth of field used, but there wasn't really a clear subject to me.

Julius M: I love the shot and the composition. The only thing that takes away from this for me is the blurring of the hand, but looking at your EXIF data, it doesn't look like there's too much you could've done about that without using an artificial light source.

Cuypers 1807: Excellent composition. I would've liked if the subject had been sharper, but I've never shot tilt-shift before, so I'm not sure of its limitations.

MSJGD: This entry actually had my favorite subject, but he seemed to be a little muddy/washed out. I also found the VW somewhat distracting.

nistelrooydude: I liked this shot a lot, but wasn't sure that it captured the energy of a big-time sporting event, which would've been nearly impossible to do in a pano. Great shot though.

genodm: This was my 2nd favorite shot. The only criticism I have of it is that I think the grain could be toned down some.

LW Dail: The horizon looks to be a little off on this one, which is very distracting. I also think I would've gone with a wider crop. This is the kind of shot where I think following the rule of thirds would be beneficial to the composition.

Once again, great shots everyone.

airfrogusmc, way to go! Congratulations.

Athrasher, thanks for the comment. I'll have to remember next time I enter a shot into a Sound thread not to make too much noise....:lol::lol:

Thanks for hosting and for commenting on all the photos. That's the way we improve!

Good luck on the next competition everyone.

This weeks winner is airfrogusmc. I almost felt like I could hear the light pitter-patter of the rain with a gentle autumn rustling. Good job. I look forward to seeing your competition theme.

Great entries everyone else. It wasn't an easy decision at all.

congrats airfrogusmc! i agree with athrasher; your photo is very "delicate".
