So I transferred my first batch of photo's from my camera to my computer and proceeded to just highlight them all and hit delete. Whoops! Found out later that was a bad call. So I put the card back in the camera and tried to take a picture. It only let me take 2 before the card was full.

I came here, read a bit, and found out that I needed to format my card. So I went to my camera, hit format and the camera seemed good to go. I proceeded to take a bunch of shot. I then tried to put them on my computer and only two shots would transfer. The rest appear corrupted.

What am I doing wrong and what should my plan of attack be?

What card do you have? Have you tried to transfer your photos by a card reader?

I have a SanDisk Extreme III 4GB. I always transfer with a card reader.
