A couple of weeks ago, took a few fun shots of my friend. She brought her daughter along who for the first 20min was terrified of my big camera - eventually she was real cool with the camera - especially after giving her the magical voice commanding 580EX flash - I told her I had set it up to "3" so everytime she said it, the flash would fire. So she was just to the side to me, with the off shoe cord attached, counting 1, 2, 3 (fire)

She kept on insisting to use my 1D - but not risking damage, gave her my old 20D to play with

She took some great shots with the 20D though!

(showing how ridiculous I looked shooting one hand on camera, and one at full arm reach on flash)

PS. ETTL on my flash is buggered, so was shooting around 1/128th and 1/64th and was still too bright on many! Probably too close to subject with no softbox. Wireless transmitter and new 580EX definitely needed

Nice warm colors. Great shots.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

#1: Very nice. Clear, sharp, like the colours.
#2: Like the diffuse foreground a lot. First thought: "She looks like she's decapitated and happy"
#4: Like the colours. Two sisters (I know, it's mother and daughter) out in the forrest.
#5: I really like the perspective and crop
#6: Very nice expression.
#7: Small hands, large camera. Very good. She really lights up. Maybe a bit of a harsh flash?
#8: Sweet.

Very nice series, I like the ones with her holding the camera. Nice and sharp, and the colors really pop.
