Avatars: The Best of the Best

A lot of the avatars I see around POTN are pretty funny. How about a place where you can shout out your favorites?

I'll start with some obvious ones. Permagrin always has a good one and so does Jamie Holladay. I also like FuryMe's, I always get confused.

I still like mine, it's the same on about 6 diff forums....

I like my owl one now. It fits well with my title and location.

Joining the self promotion train, I custom made mine. I took that famous Ansel Adams photo of the guy photographing on the roof of his car, took out the large format camera, and put in a 1D with a 600mm on it. Unfortunately it's a bit hard to see with the small forum limit size, but it allowed me to do a sloppy PSing job.

Did you selective color the lens? How cliche

I think it would get deleted quite quickly. Giving public praise is fine, but the heaping of public scorn is frowned upon. I agree with that policy, by the way. I'm just rankled by one in particular that to me seems intended to intimidate. I'll mention no names.

I did report an instance of it, but there has been no change, so I assume that the mods deem it acceptable. I can live with that, I'll just keep cringing and ducking whenever I happen to run across it.
