Well this is my friend AJ.... he was supposed to look "dead" for halloween...

I don't think he nailed the "Dead" he just looks beat up. As far as the execution of the shot it stellar... especially hanging the light what looks like camera right on high with a 40-45 degree angle from the subject. I love how the jowell casts a shadow causing the harsh shadows forming the chin in a very brooding look. Is this light snooted (plus gobo/barndoor to not blow out the hair) or gridded?

Did you clamshell a reflector on his lap to get that slight highlight for the jawline to bring it out?

Haha...what? Its 2 bare dynalite strobes! one is directly behind his head a 1/32 power..another is shining right down on him from infront of him

All i have are bare strobes....the light behind him is creeping through

I don't think you quite managed the dead look; to me it's more three days partying and about to crash.

well technically it's not my fault he doesn't look dead...he was incharge of his own costume lol

It's been a few years but if I was partying for three days with no sleep there would be huge black bags under my eyes!
