Moon, Venus, Jupiter & the teapot

Just took a few pics of this nice arrangement in the southern sky tonight. I exposed a little long to bring out the "teapot" in Sagittarius. Taken with my Sigma 24mm f/1.8 prime and 30D.

Venus is to the right of the moon, Jupiter is in the upper left corner, and the teapot is the formation of stars between Jupiter and the moon. In the pic the teapot is tilted like it is pouring on the moon.

Venus was super bright when I was out in Death Valley last week.

Nice shot. I managed to capture Jupiter and Venus in the same frame the other evening, but the moon was nowhere to be seen unfortunately.
