I got the 50mm 1.8 mkII today. I've got the kit lens and the 55-250, but wanted this one as well. I like it alot:)

Did that wine glass break just afterwards?


Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

The wine glass was glued onto the table part of her costume. She was "Head on a platter."

also, if you look between the candles in the monkey head in a jar pic, the reflection from the jar appears to be casting an image of a mystic eye on the table it sits on...ooohh. Kind of cool, I thought.

Anyone care to mention anything they might correct about them. These have np pp work done on them.

Would have framed the jar a little differently with rule of thirds in mind

The other photo is really just a snapshot that could use a little sharpening to help with the focus and maybe a bump in color

I agree with your assessment on this one. It was a rather surreal snapshot, and a fun one to look at. Here's some pp work on it to give it a little more "artistic" merit. Thoughts about my pp work? Like one over the other?
