well here's my first attempt at panning with my new XSI. i made some progress throughout the shoot but i have a long long long way to go.....C+C is welcome.

The problem I see with all of these is that you are shooting either the shaded half of the bike or you're just shooting in the shade. Get some sunlight on that thing!

yeah we dinked around too long and didnt have good lighting......but ill work on the direction of the shots next time a little better..here are the only 2 shots with better lighting that i have, they do look alot better as far as light goes but i didnt focus too well.

The problem I see... Get some sunlight on that thing!

Well, I like #1 & 4 best. Backlight doesn't have to be a "problem" if your exposure is on & I usually like that dramatic light better for most subjects.
