Thanks David, quite addictive the fisheye - so easy to take too many.

Very cool images...

Crop out the trees on either side in #2 and I'd swear I was looking down at Earth from orbit...

Hiya.

The first two are from a 15mm Canon Fisheye on a 5D - full frame really makes a difference with this. We took a similar one with a 20D and the effect was less spectacular. The lens is as sharp as a ceramic knife and a hoot to use.

The last one was a Canon 16-36 II and had faux-HDR applied to it. Kinda liked the sci-fi look :)

Michael, the third shot you posted is spectacular. Is it HDR? Please share your secrets! :D

Wow, loving the look of the first.
Looks like a view from the Can-arm looking over the Earth....quite surreal!

the 15mm on a 5d is always fun. That third shot looks awesome. What did you do to it? :D

Hi Colin,

Thank you for the kind comment. The original was not a multi-exposure shot so I used the really excellent Redynamix from DCE tools. It is a plug-in for PS that generates very unique HDR-like images from normal photos. It is a favourite of mine for buildings like this temple entrance in Bali

Thanks Michael! I checked out Redynamix - it really is excellent. I often can't get those sort of results doing Pseudo HDR with the more expensive Photomatix using multiple RAWs and this little guy does it with 8-bit JPEGs. Redynamix is a keeper. :D
