The Miami pic has a very odd pink coloration in the water and on the bridge - did you do any Photoshop work on this one? The horizon is slightly tilted to the right also.

Chicago #1 is a neat perspective shot. It looks like you caught a tiny spec of stray light - maybe lens flare just below the center starlight - what was the light source? Venus? An airplane? In any case, it's a really neat shot. I like this one a lot!

Chicago # 2 I think is the 3rd shot since it doesn't have a separate city name on it. That's my absolute favorite - super cool effects all around with the distortion. The aspect ratio of your crop choice would mean you'd need a custom matte but it would be worth it!

Great job! Thanks for sharing!

I forgot to add that there is no post processing on these shots besides a little brightening...other than that, nothing else at all

#1 pink needs changing or lowering
#2 seems a bit tilted on the horizon, straghten
#3 best so far, would be best if the bottom of frame was up at that curb corner either by drop or original place you stood.

Subject matter is grreat!!!

I love them! particularly the second two, have to agree with the pink over-powering the first a tad. Care to share some settings?

Well as far as the first shot goes, the exposure looks a little hot and blown out in some places to me. I do very much like the colors here, but I think this might have been a better subject for HDR. Also in this shot, the horizon is rather tilted (easy fix in pp) and just a nit pick, but I'd clone that crane on the top of that building out of there too.

The second shot, again very lovely colors here and I would guess you used a fish-eye lens...I really love the effect. My biggest nit here is...well...symmetry. This looks like it was taken from the side of the river and I think it would have looked better if you had of been dead center in (above) the river instead. Also I find that chunk of building leaning in on the upper left hand corner to be rather distracting.

The third shot also looks pretty good, but to me it lacks the dramatic impact of the first two...although I'm not really sure I can say why. I think for this shot, I might have moved in closer to the building right there in the center...maybe shot this from the middle of that street intersection instead to eliminate some of the "clutter" on the sides.

Over-all I think these are some very nice images. Next time I would suggest just paying a little closer attention to your exposure when you have bright lights as with the first shot (watch your histogram on the camera, assuming it has one, and make sure you're not clipping) and maybe just pay a little closer attention to your position relative to the surroundings as far as composition goes. I think with a little more attention to details, these would have been outstanding shots.

Just my $.02 worth,
Jim

Oh, man... my brain was a bit mush last night. Destroy as in criticize them. I had no idea how to interpret this thread when I read it.

Anyway - I'm always surprised by what details people can pick up on when analyzing a photo. To me, these look superb. I'm surprised you said that these are basically out of camera with minimal pp.
