Quick 5DII question...

I feel like this has been answered already but I ran a search and checked out this section and I didn't come across the answer...

Does the AF function still work during the 5DII's video mode? Would I be able to track a moving object in servo mode during its video mode?

My instincts are telling me no which would be an upset, but hey... I'm wrong a lot :lol:

Basically you can, but Canon does not recommend it. If they don't recommend it, it probably doesn't work really well and they don't want people to have unrealistic expectations. Maybe some people will get it to work acceptably while others won't.

I imagine that if you get a Red Rock Micro rig or something similar with focus mechanisms you can pull focus well and without shaking the camera. But whether or not you can do it as well as an AF mechanism is unknown.
