I agree on #1 but maybe try sharpening it a bit and see what it looks like then.
#2 - I'd try a different crop. Maybe lop off the blank area to the right of the plant.
#3 - Light's not so good but I'd try bringing the subject to the foreground with a crop if you can and maybe dial down the exposure or brightness in PP.
#5 - Interesting subject, what are they? Colours seem a little muted.

Nice sunny day, you might want to lower your ISO a bit.

#1 I would've liked to see the bridge in focus, rather than the tree.
#2 Although the background is blurred, and you did a good job trying out that effect, I would like to see it even more blurred. I can make out another of the same flower, and it's distracting.
#3 This one is a bit overexposed. Their faces kind of blend in with their bodies.
#4 I'd bump up the saturation a tad to give the color a WOW factor. The colors of the sky look a little weird, did you edit it?

Overall, #4 is my favorite, and #1 coming in second (probably would've been first if the bridge was in focus).

All but the last one seem out of focus to me. The last one would be my favorite, but the crooked fence bothers me a bit.

Thanks everyone...this was all very helpful for the next time I go and shoot.

On the last picture - it is a stone garden/sculpture. Also I played with the color and saturation a bit...bumped it up but thats it. I am not really ready to play with photoshop quite yet, but more or less just looking for pointers when shooting. The overexposure was definitely a factor that day and it was my first day out with new camera and I am a beginnger so I think I did decent LOL! Thanks again!

I like them but like me you seem to be having trouble with focus...i never knew how hard it would be! Well done though.
