Buyers remorse? Hopefully I made the right choice.....

If you are this torn about it, it is clearly the wrong decision. Just refuse the package when it arrives.;)

sorry about the buyers remorse!

on one side: as Dan said if you are truly feeling really really bad about buying it. maybe refusing the package is a good idea,

however the other side:
I had a little bit of that for each of my major camera purchases. but I tell you as soon as I have gotten a couple hours with my new gear... it all dissappears! the 40D is a nice peice of kit! I haven't used the 17-40, but I am sure it is a great lens. if you enjoy photography, and you will use the gear, then I am sure that you will find it to be most wonderful.

Good luck, and Have fun.

oh yeah. and if you do keep it then definitely post up some pics so we can enjoy it with you!

....Well it came today....AND IT WAS THE GREATEST DAY, AND BEAMS OF HEAVENY LIGHT SHONE DOWN UPON MY FACE....

Ok, sorry for that. This is a great combo, and now that I have it can deffinetly say I'm surprised I was even afraid of anything.

If anyone stumbles upon this thread, and is in the decision stage of any of these items, (40D, Grip or 17-40) just get them, they're all great!

Images soon, it is currently dark :(.

Great choice, but I think you need to get out and shoot, once you see the results, that bad feeling about th echange missing from the bank goes away :)
