are we sure 20 miles is far enough? we can probably tie this into a cell phone so you can take pictures anywhere you get cell reception

I thought of the same thing as soon as I posted this. Imagine setting off your camera from China while watching a live streaming video over the internet!

20 miles isn't enough. I need more range that than for when I do my off-camera shots of astronauts on the moon...from earth. For now I'll just use the popup.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I think that's funny. I hardly use my PWII's for a large room.

Those silly two way radios dont go 20 miles! Perhaps under ideal (unreal) conditions they might get close. Still, Im not sure even if they did I would want my camera that far away from me!

Thoes radio are not implied to be 20 milers. However similar radio that do go 20 miles are easily available. CB radios will work as well. They have a huge range.

I don't know if I'd EVER be comfortable being that far away from my gear ;)
