Cute. Love the black backdrop and lighting. Was this something you organised yourself or through a company?

the playgroup is one run by some people i know, and i organised the shoot myself. i managed to knock out last year's photographer because some of the mums complained about her manner.

i used 2 flashes: 580ex + lightsphere on camera, bounced off ceiling, and 430ex as a slave, bounced off white sheet on the left of the image. on the right was a gold reflector, with some indirect window light above. sure was fun setting up all the gear on my own in the morning LOL - took about 45 mins from the time i drove up.

really nice photos. parents must be happy. i think i would crop that adorable little boy a little closer. very cute!
