i was thinking, you know we have the sticky in accessories with the links to bag reviews? can we do something similar with lenses?

i know that potentially that thread would be HUGE and it would take a lot of leg work to get sorted... but... personally i think itd be worth it, ive seen the same questions about the same lenses crop up over and over again..

any thoughts?

It's going to be difficult. Will there be threads devoted to each lens with lots of different reviews by different people?
You'd probably have to start a thread called Lens Reviews and then ask people to start a new thread for each lens, post in your thread the new thread address and then link to that thread in your first/second post. Lots of work on startup.

As you now see, there's a whole sub-section dedicated to lens samples. It's more straight-forward to leave it there, otherwise people will be tempted to create new archive threads in the lens section.

People will get used to looking/posting in the right area.
