I'd like to tell you that it was a very well planned and executed complicated shoot but I'd be lying.

It's a Canadian $20 bill. The shot actually was to test the sharpness of the lens I just got.... Set it on my desk with the camera on a mini tripod. Used my desk lamp to light the bill so I didn't have too slow a shutter speed, focused on the eyes and voila!, it was done.

Pretty much a fluke. Seems most my good pictures are. :lol:

Exactly my point! If I think too much about a shot, it's rarely the best of the bunch. :lol: Must be because of my street shooter background. Don't think - shoot!

Geno: Congrats....I just love the way you subtly brought color into the shot. What a nice composition. :D

All of these shots are just wonderful. There not a single bad shot in the bunch. They sure give me ideas. I look forward to seeing the next challenge.

Bill Pham: I really love that bee shot. Something that caught me was how clean the eyes stay while the body is what retains the pollen.

Real men shoot Pentax because we're born with our own Canon's!!
{Ok...ok, some of use just have a PnS but it it always makes me happy! :D}

Wow! Congrats Geno!! Well done. I knew when I sold you that lens that it was finding a good home to give it some love. Great job. I assume you kept the tripod ring too:lol:
