I bet I made you look though. ;)

... what. Did anything else happen yesterday? All I know is that I shipped my last DSLR to a good POTNer, and was left orphan for a few hours until I bought me a Canon G10 'Point and Pretend it's a DSLR' camera.

I will be reviewing it in a few mins, but I am just glad to have a camera.

So, I just want to invite anyone and everyone who reads this thread -even if under misconception of its title- and feel grateful for whatever gear Canon has blessed you with up to this point.

I'll go first:

I am Mario, and I am a photoholic. I am grateful for digital technology and the internet, that allows me to photograph and share my images with countless other people throughout the world.

Through photography I have done things I had never thought possible.

Yeah, and some pretty dumb ones too. (I once tried to push an issue by flashing my press pass in the wrong place at the wrong time).

Hi all, I am Tumak. I am a photoholic. I was gateful enough for a D60 and 30D. Also
S1IS. Love my SD800 IS. But I am feeling the need for a G10. Somebody pray for me. Canon costs me more than my wife does.

[everyone] Hello, tumak.

May the inspiring muses of the Canonites give you some good gear. Most importantly, keep using the one you already have !!. :)

I do, I do. The S1 IS has gone away to my kids. I use the SD for pocket camera use, but I keep wanting for a little better image quality due to making slide shows of grand kids. I use the heavy stuff for their sports, and serious stuff. The wife will not turn loose of the SD and D60. I will die someday with the 30D. A G10 would complete the above and give me my own motorcycle camera for scenics.
