I just did some testing and the 10-22mm works just fine on the D60. While I had the baffle out I also did some measuring for full-frame, on my Elan (film). 11mm is the threshold but that's cutting it close. 12mm is a safe number but it vignettes from 10-<13 anyway so from 13-22mm it will work on an Elan, just don't go below 12mm.
