Didn't really get what I wanted, but it wasn't newsworthy anyway. Nothing exploded. :cry:

I worked in the fire service for a while. The second shot actually says a lot to those on the job. It would fit well into a "day in the life of a firefighter." The calls that yield "nobody hurt, nothing damaged" outnumber the others.

Judging by the roto-ray on the front of the engine, I am going to say this was taken in either NOVA, Maryland or eastern Pennsylvania.

It wasn't real PJ work. Just taking my camera so I looked official and could find out what was going on. :p
