Only took my 50mm f/1.8 but managed to get some shots.

A night I'll never forget...

I was lucky enough to get a ticket and made it down to Grant Park last night. I agree with you. Last night will remain in my mind forever. Love the pics!

Powerful. Crop 8 tighter and you have a winner. 9 needs some WB.

On the humour side I notice people in Chicago have hard time spelling things right on t-shirts and banners...

I hope you're not referring to Art Institvte or dicks tators.

But yeah, some t-shirts down there...well let's say the education in some parts of the city needs improvement.

I didn't get to take any pics unfortunately. I got rid of my camera last month in order to get a laptop for school. We ended up driving to the even and parking at the lot for $8. We had no problem getting back to the car and heading to the north side. I'm so glad we didn't take the El.

Roman spelling/characters aside, the spelling there could use some polishing. But then America has always forged its on course when it comes to spelling. Well, Roosevelt forged his own course...

We took it south a few stops, then got off and headed north (where I live). We got a seat and I slept the whole way back.

The next EIGHT YEARS in America are going to be incredible. It has been a long time coming for a NEW school President to be in charge. The olde guard is finally seeing the light of the youth of this country, and were going to change our country for the better!

Oops, I lost my thoughts. These photos are great, you have caught the moment and saved some incredible memories!

Let's just hope the new administration uses a different PR firm than Canon.

We all know how their hype panned out... ;)
