Hi All,
I'm not thinking about upgrading just for the sake of upgrading. I think my 20D is about to bite the dust after a few too many clicks and being used in the rain a few too many times.
I shoot primarily sports, ranging from youth and high school to division 1 hockey for my college. As mentioned before, I currently own a 20D but also have a 1D Mark II as my primary camera. Sometimes I like the 20D a bit more because the out-of-camera pictures don't require as much post processing.
The 20D has been fantastic and served me well for a year and a half. The problem? The autofocus can barely keep up. I feel like I'm always trying to keep up with the 20D AF while the MKII - well, we all know the MKII.
Are the 40D or 50D capable of focusing quickly before and BETWEEN shots and actually achieving close to the 6 FPS frame rate while remaining in focus?
Anything else I should know?
Thank!
