I used to use yourpay.com.....they recently implemented a yearly "security fee"

IMAGE: http://www.sparkimg.com/emoticons/furious.gif
of $140. They have no monthly minimums or monthly charges it's only a per transaction charge. But the security fee really pissed me off. They had some lame excuse so I cancelled. I don't have credit card purchases every month so I am looking for a per transaction processor again.

Any suggestions?

Can some one answer this....

If I have a paypal account, I send my client an invoice (not a paypal invoice) and tell them they can pay using paypal can my client pay me using a credit card even if I don't have a business account with paypal?

I'd say payments-wise this is how my business is with regards to payments I receive

paypal 80%
credit cards 10%
checks 10%

I just can't see paying a monthly fee for the ability to accept credit cards and I'll go a few months without getting payments in the form of credit cards.

You can use Paypal without a business account, but I think you're limited to receiving $500 per month. You've got to remember that the credit card processors are in business to make a buck too. They have a lot of expenses and with the current economy, quite a bit of bad debt.

If you went down the WorldPay route - they now offer payments by PayPal. Personally, I pref WP over PP - but then again I've been writing payment systems that have had to integrate with processors for the last 2 years.

I stopped taking cards when Amex,Discover and MasterCard said that they were going to charge a compliance fee on top of the other fees. I now only accept cards through my site (Exposure Manager) and their fees include the CC processing.

Apparently yourpay.com has decided to pass that fee on to the customer and that's why I stopped.

I'm not sure on this one, but if you'd like to try it out, pm me and I'll send you my paypal email. You can send me an invoice and I'll see if I can pay via credit card.
