LR converting RAW

Hi there-

Today I converted a RAW image to Jpeg using LR, and wanted to keep the dpi to 300 (which I put in in the export settings window). However, when it converts to jpeg, it comes out as being 72dpi. I've converted several times, but always with the same result: 72dpi.

However, when I convert using either PS3 or CaptureNX2, the conversion holds true to my wishes, which is 300dpi.

Any idea why this would be happening?

Thanks in advance.

Annie

Welcome to POTN :)

We have a lot of information in FAQs, the FAQ you need today is this one. ACR is the RAW engine inside Bridge, Photoshop, and Lightroom, so while the interface might look slightly different it should work the same.

For general ppi information have a read of this FAQ.
