RRS BDRebBG body plate for the 20d

How does this RRS plate fit up to a 20d w/grip? ive read some older threads that say it doesnt fit as well since its the original plate for the Rebel vertical grip

It appears they have a normal plate, and then an "L" bracket made for that application.
Isn't the regular plate version what you have pictured?

If you haven't purchased it yet, check out Kirk also, although they are more $$.

i went ahead and bit the bullet and got the RRS L Plate and it fits great...

no problems whatsoever. i also got a Makins M10 Ballhead and a RRS top clamp plate... all ae made very well.

Yep, the stuff is amazingly designed well and will last longer than the camera.
