Just saw an article in MAKE about a Flickr group that has a bot that will automatically tag stars in a picture you add to the pool.

Article: MAKE (external link)
Flickr Group: astrometry (external link)

I only had one photo (external link) with stars visible in my Flickr but it seems to have worked (I don't actually know enough to know if it tagged the right stars or not).

I just went and checked this out. This is too cool! I joined the group and added a couple widefield images. I just checked back, and already it has placed flickr notes pointing out items on the images and produced lists of items.

I added two images: stars2 and stars6 under the user name of "HeyImRick"

This could be a great learning tool for beginners such as myself.
