Harriman State Park, NY

Just took my first hike in Harriman State Park in NY this past weekend. These are the first landscape shots I've taken with my 40D. C&C welcome. :)

For me, portrait mode doesn't work in the first one. The landscape version is much better, IMO. I like the middle one, too.

Nice shots, I would try cropping some of the sky out of the first one though.

Thanks for the advice. I thought about cropping out the sky more on the first shot but since I wanted to keep a 4x6 proportion I'd lose the rocks in the foreground.

This park is in Sloatsburg, NY in Rockland County. There are lots of trails in the park.
