NOW you say something! I think the warranty is up on mine already, to late to exchange for a girl!!

I don't recall that my girls were easier. In fact, they were/are (I have one still in the nest) quite a bit more difficult. And emotional. And they cry. All. The. Time.

I got a whole bunch more I could show, but I don't want to seem like I'm bragging...

I've been messing around with filters and such again  Is this fun or just weird?

It is fun. You are weird :p

And fit right in, lol.

Hullo folk, I am working on the senior pix, hopefully to be finished by tomorrow so I can agonize over book submissions during the weekend

That's not bragging! I'd love to see them.

OK, you asked for it... I don't have shots of all the medals, so I'm just going to show my ribbon bar along with other insignia I wore. I'm going to try to set it up like it would have been on my shirt or coat...

First up is the pin for a diver 2nd Class

This is the Navy's newest warfare badge, the Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist. This qualification was created only in the last several years, but had it been available, I would have had it also...

All the blueberries I have seen grow as singles...the other difference between the two is the blueberry has a bellybutton on the bottom of it....these are completely smooth.

Thanks for the blueberry botany course, Dan, like I said I've only seen them in their retail packagin so had know idea.

. We should have know that it would get interesting because as we entered a ranger handed out a survey asking what we though about hunters sharing the same area as train bikers..

Around here the close the conservation areas during hunting/culling season.

Hey, is there anyone in here who isn't a quitter? Anyone still smoke? Speak up so we can badger..er... encourage you to quit.

I'm thinking I quit about 20 years ago. I think it was a couple years before Curt and I go married and we are going on 18 years.

Gaaaaa, I thought I could catch up this evening, but my eyes keep slam'n and I have several pages to go. I always seem to be behind any more.:(

John, I know it has been said, but really, thank you. Your love of your country and service to same is reflected in the ribbons and badges bestowed on you.

Thanks, but I think I'm like most career service personnel in that I don't feel like I really did a whole lot...

Two bits of randomness from me:

1: I am down 17 pounds. That, in itself, is pretty cool, but it didn't actually hit me till tonight when I put on a pair of dress slacks to go out on my hot date, and they fell off.

2: We watched 'Dan in Real Life' with Steve Carrel tonight, and it is an absolutely FANTASTIC movie. A definite must see.

That attitude seems to be the difference between those do for others and those that do not.
