1: I am down 17 pounds. That, in itself, is pretty cool, but it didn't actually hit me till tonight when I put on a pair of dress slacks to go out on my hot date, and they fell off.

2: We watched 'Dan in Real Life' with Steve Carrel tonight, and it is an absolutely FANTASTIC movie. A definite must see.

17 lbs how cool is that. But you better be careful you don't want to waste away to nothing.

Wade has been teasing me for some time about needing to buy new pants.
But you know... I kinda like them a bit baggy.
This was the first time that I've had a pair that fell off though. I mean, I actually couldn't wear them.
It was a good feeling. (Except that I REALLY liked that pair of slacks, LOL)

Wow! It was still in the $2.50 range just last week when I was there. I picked the wrong week to go there...

The gas prices here are all over the place. The Shell stations are still around 2.50 but Sam's club is down to 2.15. That's a pretty big spread for less than a block apart.

There's an ARCO a couple miles from me that went to $2.29 today. That's the lowest I've seen around here so far.

And the back story, for those of you who weren't there:

Wade, Lonnie and I were driving back from Zion (or was it Silver Reef? I don't remember the day) and my phone rings. It's Josh. He says 'Hey, when are you going to be home? Is is ok if I go for a long walk? I need to go for a walk.'. I said, sure, go ahead, just be home by 5:30.
Hang up.

5 seconds later, my phone rings again. I answer:

"hello"
"Hi, is Sarah there?"
"HA! Really?!"
"Holy crap... how did THAT happen?!"
"You are SO busted, dude. Were you trying to call Sarah?"
"um... I... uh... welll......"
"Why didn't you say when you called the first time that you were going to go meet Sarah?"
"I.... um... I.... well....."


ROFLOL! He accidentally called me again, instead of calling his 'not' girlfriend. It was SOO funny.
