Nice shot Tif, that's beautiful. Also, I've been wondering, what is the significance of Gagliardi?

One time when I was on a space mission to save the wracknocks from the zerrberts I happened to focus my 9 bazillion gagillion x magnified telescope on rome and noticed that a large chunk of wall from the colosseum was about to colapse onto a poor farmers newborn baby. Luckily I had my uber advanced all powerful blackberry phone with me and was able to call down to earth to have someone safe the lad.

The farmer sad that my ability to see things was "Gagliardi" which was one of the words from his and his sister's (their twins) secret childhood language that meant "life saving"

Zane!!! I have a horse question for you... We have a paint pony that they are concerned is foundering. What I found on the internet doesn't make sense with what we were told about Rainbow's issues.... Foundering is a foot issue? But they're saying that Rainbow is refusing to eat the hay and only wants to eat grass/sweet feed. Our usual horse person went on maternity leave Tuesday afternoon, so she is who I would usually ask....

Thanks in advance!

Horses will usually pick grass or sweet feed over hay so that is not a concern. Foundering is an issue often caused by over eating either grain or high sugar grass. It is a detailed process but basically they don't digest correctly, build up toxins, and their feet swell. The swelling can cause the laminate in their feet to separate called laminitis. If the process is not stopped the swelling can cause the coffin bone to rotate and even push through the sole of the foot. It is a serious condition and fatal if not stopped. The first signs are usually heat and a pulse in sore front feet. They get so sore you will see a horse rocked back putting all it's weight on the back feet. When the back feet get sore the horse will lay down. Also once a horse has foundered they are much more susceptible to it in the future. Treatment depends on cause but they will probably get bute twice a day to stop pain and inflammation. It could also be a navicular issue.

I am without a beard for the first time in many years. We have a national charity today with people doing all sorts of crazy things for "Children in Need". I flippantly said that I would shave my head to which someone said £20 if you shave your beard off, after some cajoling my secretary managed to get it to over £200 so the beard has come off.

You are a good sport to do that Neil!

Grr..

OK, My wife wrote-off a friend. Long story short, we got tired of some of her antics, including, but not limited to asking to borrow money constantly. Some of the things she has said has triggered something primal in my wife's brain, which caused her to go into "protect the baby mode" which subsequently caused her to write off the friend. Well, apparently she used my wife's name and our phone number as a "reference" for a cash loan through ACE. We get a call from ACE asking us about the friend's wherabouts. Apparently she skipped out on paying the loan back.

Sounds like she is smoking crack or some other drug problem. I have seen that pattern way to many times.

You could spend $25/day just for parking places...that doesn't include admissions to anything. (or your cost for hotel parking)

Sounds like any big city on the east coast. I had heard it was expensive though.

Hey Deb, if you go to Pike's street and see some fireweed honey, will you pick some up for me? I'll pay you for it when I see you.

I saw so many people my age or close to it, with gray hair (and it looked pretty) that I'm going to cut my hair short (in order to let the gray grow out...mine is silver/white and I believe I'm entirely gray...have been for about 10 years) on Thurs?

Natural is nice. I have a thing for reality.

No, but if it goes to a collections agency, they'll likely call us and try to drill information out of us. (of which we don't have much)

I would just give them the police report number ;) I guess if she did not steal from you and only used you as a reference there is no crime but you may want to report it and see what the police say. It could help in an identity theft situation to show a pattern.

I'm at a loss as to which shot I should submit. And I don't have time to go through all my shots to do a selection. So if any of you remember any particular shot that you think I should submit, let me know (PM accepted ;-)a)

Thanks!

I'd have to say that my vacation to Puerto Rico was by far the best (photographically) one I've taken so far. It was relatively inexpensive as a group vacation.
But the flight is torture. Like you've been buried alive.

Speaking of you traveling, is your group coming back to Nashville?
