Speaking of you traveling, is your group coming back to Nashville?

Nope. We rarely go to the same place twice.

I'm at a loss as to which shot I should submit. And I don't have time to go through all my shots to do a selection. So if any of you remember any particular shot that you think I should submit, let me know (PM accepted ;-)a)

Thanks!

well what are you waiting for??

I haven't had any time to submit anything today...this weekend i'll get 2-3 in...

you have to submit one of the elephants in!!!

do one as "travel" and one as "wildlife"

oh and you have to do one of the boy playing with that long metal stick with the skateboard wheels on the bottom, against the arid desert one too...that can go in "people"

Weary hello.

We just picked up our cats from the vet (boarding)...have to go to the store and then I'm not leaving the house for the rest of the weekend if I can help it.

Obviously I survived the plane trip (barely) back and have decided I'm only traveling places where I can drive from now on!

There are roughly 120 pages of 50 posts each since we've been gone...so forgive me, I'm not catching up. I will from here (and please let me know if I've missed something that needs attention).

LISA! :D *hugs*

Did I tell you that I saw so many people my age or close to it, with gray hair (and it looked pretty) that I'm going to cut my hair short (in order to let the gray grow out...mine is silver/white and I believe I'm entirely gray...have been for about 10 years) on Thurs?

Good for you! I can't wait to see it in all of its natural glory :D

Bumping this as a reminder.

One time when I was on a space mission to save the wracknocks from the zerrberts I happened to focus my 9 bazillion gagillion x magnified telescope on rome and noticed that a large chunk of wall from the colosseum was about to colapse onto a poor farmers newborn baby. Luckily I had my uber advanced all powerful blackberry phone with me and was able to call down to earth to have someone safe the lad.

The farmer sad that my ability to see things was "Gagliardi" which was one of the words from his and his sister's (their twins) secret childhood language that meant "life saving"

Tif with one 'f', you remind me of someone.........

not to mention crossing state boarders to drop them off, the last one was form FLORIDA and got dropped off somewhere in the midwest.

Now that is just sad. I wish there was a way to exterminate idiot people.:|

Holy cheese Batman!! There is not going to be any 17lbs lost in this apartment!I think my coping mechanism for moving is to take full advantage of the Wisconsin cheese curds! om nom nom. I know it's bad when I go, "What should I eat for breakfat? Well I did just buy ranch cheese curds...OK! Breakfast decision made."

Uh, hello Little...share. It's only nice.

kumatron wrote in post #6686515 (external link)
Well, it could go for him too! I read that they are suppose to grow about an inch a month. He's 5 weeks old and has grown 3!!! he's in 6mo length clothes but they are way too big in the waist! he's 25inches right now.

That is going to be one big Littlest.

Welcome home....catching up is an option I suppose. Only if we get vacation pictures....otherwise, you HAVE to go back and catch up.

By the way, if anyone is thinking of going to Hawaii and thinks (after booking everything on Orbitz or priceline) that it will just be this cost plus food/gas...just know it's one of the most expensive places we've ever been and that it cost us again what we paid for lodging/rental car and airfair, just to be there.

Guess I'll have to start saving pennies. I knew it was expensive, but double the travel cost, oi!

Grr..

OK, My wife wrote-off a friend. Long story short, we got tired of some of her antics, including, but not limited to asking to borrow money constantly. Some of the things she has said has triggered something primal in my wife's brain, which caused her to go into "protect the baby mode" which subsequently caused her to write off the friend. Well, apparently she used my wife's name and our phone number as a "reference" for a cash loan through ACE. We get a call from ACE asking us about the friend's wherabouts. Apparently she skipped out on paying the loan back.

That so sucks....I would have done the same. Hope it all gets sorted out.

Permagrin wrote in post #6687164 (external link)
edit: BTW, it was your father who said (when I mentioned the tatoo) "I'm not worried about how you'll feel afterwards, I'm worried about me..." LOL. He called me his sailor buddy when I had the turtle on my forearm for that short amount of time.

:lol:That's funny.
