cool. And no I've never read him but Dan's got a few of his books. I was considering (another of Dan's authors) Douglas Preston/Lincoln Childs duo...next. Has anyone read their books?

oooh nice (and true) analogy!

I LOVE their duo's! The have a set that is somewhat of a series, although only the last 3 or 4 are actually dependent on each other. I will find some titles if you wish :D

I'm at a crisis. I've finished the series I've been reading. It's so hard to go from one series to a completely different one...and finding an intermediate non-series book that is entertaining is also difficult. (see...I'm an equal opportunity anxietist...):lol:

 I have 2 trilogies that you are welcome to borrow. Both by Bill Myers. The 'Blood of Heaven' trilogy (just finished it for the 3rd time. Excellent books) and the 'Soul Tracker' trilogy, which is also very very good.

Cool!

I find that I have to *not* read for a bit when I finish one of the supers (favorite authors). Otherwise it is like following up a Lindht 80% dark with a Hershey milk chocolate bar. Ick.

Grisham's work is not a series perse but they are all well written and easy to read. Sometimes you pull for the bad guy

Here is one of the 'formal' shots from the 50th Anniversary shoot. You know, the one where my lights were set up wrong.

Did I recover it ok? Or does it still need work?

(They all are pretty much just like this one, but with different people)

THIS (external link) shows all of their books (I have read them all and enjoyed every one!)
It also details the Pendergast books. He is featured in all, but only the last three are really tied together.

I have also read The Codex by Douglas Preston (solo novel) and really enjoyed it.

Two of my favorites are A River Runs Through It by Norman Maclean. What the movie was based on and as usual much better than the movie. "All Things Bright and Beautiful" and "All Creatures Great and Small" by James Herriot.

These are older but very good reads.

If you could fix all the forced smiles it would probably be fine. WB looks off a tad. The lady in the middle looks like you (older of course).

I can see a bit of shadow on the girl in the upper row/middle, but considering what you were up against, I think it will work. The girl on the outside right looks like she is in a bit of pain, lol.

Always keeping in mind that I have the lighting know-how of a gnat

I may take you up on that sometime but we have a lot of those books Terri listed that I haven't read.

I'm not on my desktop so I can't comment on the color (my laptop needs to be calibrated) but the exposure looks fine to me.

The smiles were not to be fixed. Did I mention the drill sargent shouting orders behind me?
And that's funny that she looks like me. No relation. Just a job.

That's all I need to know, LOL. ;) And the girl in the middle has had that shadow lifted as much as I possibly can and still have some resemblance to a face left. I'm not sure I'd be able to lighten it anymore.

Thanks. ;)
