Lisa, are you much of a SciFi/Fantasy fan? If so, Jim Butcher (external link) is a wonderful read! He has me seriously LMAO, especially in his Dresden Files series (which is more contemporary, or what they are calling 'urban fantasy'). He writes clean and his pages are not cluttered with sex scenes (nothing irritates me more than to have a story line interrupted for 4 pages of 'oh johnny' which is why I don't read many female writers anymore).

*does happy dance* Jim is releasing TWO books this year! Yay me!

and, has been asked to write a Spider Man novel, how cool is that?
EDIT: It looks like I am a bit late to the party as that book is two years old, rofl!

You don't have to answer, your gasps of joy speak loud and clear :p

 You know, I had picked up his first book in the Dresden series and had it on the shelf for a good six months before I read it.
Once I read it, I blazed through the remaining books in the series that had been published in less than two months. Now I have angst waiting on new ones. Buy the new ones as they are published, read them at breakneck speed and then mourn for a year  til the next one comes out.

One more to share: (then I'll leave you alone and get back to the grindstone)

The mom and dad with their kids. I think the only shadow that I couldn't get rid of on this one, was on the mom's face.
It's still ok, yes?
(Chet, does the wb still look off to you?)

yeah that one looks really good! They all be smiling pretty natural too!:D

I bet if you said "you look my my friend's dead husband" that you wouldn't see him again

Weather is the same here Deb. Very nice. I'm so tired though (I think I'm fighting an airplane virus) that I'm back in the flannels and vegging in a warm house.
