sigh...I've spent the last 20min (long for my attention span) trying to find an onion smilie...no such luck (well they have doofy smilies called "onion smilies" but they aren't onions)

PM Cat :) She can unearth any smilie in the universe!

Good evening peeps! :D

Is everyone in the book deadline panic?? :D. Good luck guys!

We went to Door County today and saw a couple of lighthouses, but it was so so so cold (literally little lakes froze between setting out this morning and coming back) we spent most of the time in the car! I love drive by photography!!

Shot the most beautiful sunset! I'm so excited to get home and see the pictures! :D *thrills*

Apparently we're hoping the rest of the world will switch back.

Yeah, typical American arrogance...

yes we do...1 stone = 14 lbs...pretty simple to learn

Reminds me of a story...

One of my Navy units became friendly with the crew of a Royal Navy submarine that was in San Diego for training. We were having a party at a private home and one of our guys mentioned to some of the Brits that there were some single women at the party. One of the RN sailors made the comment (and understand this has to be with a very heavy accent) "With me kinda luck, she'll be a 20 stone mud wrestler..."

She lives there. What are you doing in California? ;)

She doesn't look Maylasian and I thought she might be doing academic research or something like that... :p

I do most of my cabinet work in metric. 237mm is so much easier to remember that 27 5/16".

I so cannot add fractions that I bought a special calculator to do it for me when I worked at Home Depot.

Probably my favorite female author is Elizabeth Peters (her Amelia P. Emerson series is excellent entertainment).

If you like mysteries, look for authors Kathy Reichs and Dana Stabenow. Kathy Reichs is the author of the books that the TV series "Bones" is based upon and Data Stabenow writes mysteries about a female private investigator in Alaska who is Iniut...

Between work, processing and checking in or the wackenings (wacko happenings) here, this day has flown by. BUT, I only have one more share to do, which is going to be the toughest, N&L. Tehy REALLY do need to separate these two next time, otherwise I really like the division of shares.

YES!!! they really need to split the N&L up. It's causing me all kinds of stress...:lol:

How far east ..like 3hrs ? or ten hrs?

I'm about 31/2 hrs east of Portland, and about 7 1/2 hrs to Coos Bay.
